About Me
Being the first woman in my family to earn a master’s degree and work in a corporate setting meant learning how to navigate professional spaces without a roadmap.
Since starting my journey in community college 8 years ago, I’ve learned that building a career isn’t just about chasing the “right” opportunity. It’s about knowing how to create opportunities, build the right relationships, communicate your value, and make strategic decisions about what to pursue next.
For me, that meant being intentional about the relationships I built, learning how to leverage and communicate my value, and finding ways to create career opportunities instead of waiting for them to come to me.
